Pittsburgh, PA - Carlton Carrington, a true freshman guard for the University of Pittsburgh, has announced that he will enter the 2024 NBA Draft. The 19-year-old made the announcement during a press conference held at Pitt's GBU Life Campus.
Carrington, a Baltimore native, had a standout freshman season for the Panthers, averaging 12.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. He earned All-ACC Freshman Team honors and led the Panthers to an NCAA Tournament berth.
"After careful consideration and consultation with my family, coaches, and advisors, I have decided to enter the 2024 NBA Draft," Carrington said. "I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities I have had at Pitt and for the support of my coaches, teammates, and fans. I believe I am ready for the next challenge and can't wait to pursue my NBA dreams."
